Dr. Tsurho, Team Leader and Head of Department, Nagaland Bio Resource Mission (NBRM), Government of Nagaland, to promote buffalo development in the state, visited the Punia Buffalo Farm at Jhansal (Rajasthan) on 8th October 2025. The visit, organized to promote buffalo development in Nagaland, provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction and knowledge exchange between Dr. Tsurho and the farmers, in the presence of scientists from the ICAR–Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (ICAR-CIRB), Hisar. Dr. Tsurho noted that the visit of Buffalo Farms around Hisar & Hanumangarh arranged by CIRB scientists offered valuable insights and a forward-looking perspective for strengthening buffalo development in Nagaland.
