ICAR–Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB), Hisar, Haryana
The ICAR–Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB), Hisar, Haryana, observed National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31st October 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shri. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The celebration aimed to reaffirm the institute’s commitment to the values of unity, integrity, and national security as envisioned by Shri. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The programme commenced with the administration of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge at the CIRB Administrative Building, wherein all staff members of ICAR–CIRB participated. The oath ceremony emphasized the importance of preserving and strengthening the unity, integrity, and security of the nation.
Subsequently, a lecture on the theme “Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat” was organized at the institute Training Hall. The session was attended by approximately 60 participants, including CIRB staff, personnel from PNB–Farmers Training Centre (FTC), Sachha Khera, and farmer-trainees from Chirod village of Hisar district. The lecture highlighted the vision of fostering national integration, cultural harmony, and inclusive development across diverse regions of the country.
Following the lecture, a “Walk for Unity” was organized from the CIRB main gate to the Administrative Block. Around 60 participants, comprising CIRB staff, PNB–FTC Sachha Khera representatives, and farmer-trainees from Chirod village, actively took part in the walk. The participants carried banners and placards promoting the message of “Unity in Diversity” and national solidarity.
The observance of National Unity Day 2025 at ICAR–CIRB, Hisar, successfully fostered a spirit of oneness and collective responsibility among the participants. The event served as a tribute to the exemplary leadership and nation-building efforts of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, while reinforcing the institute’s dedication to upholding the ideals of unity and integrity in all its endeavours.
