  उन्नत भैंस पालन प्रशिक्षण

केंद्रीय भैंस अनुसंधान के प्रयास स्वरूप दिनांक 17 से 19 अगस्त वर्ष 2017  के दौरान "मेरा गांव मेरा गौरव"  योजना के तहत "उन्नत भैंस पालन प्रशिक्षण " का आयोजन किया गया । 121 किसानो ने भाग लिया जिसमे 20 से अधिक महिलाए थी । भैंस पालकों एवं किसानो को भैंस पालन समंधित प्रशिक्षण दिया गया ।हितधारकों को वैज्ञानिक रूप से किए गए भैंस पालन से होने वाले मुनाफों के प्रति किसानो को जागरूक करते हुए अच्छी नसल की भैंस रखने एवं भैंस पालन से समंधित जानकारी प्राप्त करने हेतु केंद्रीय भैंस अनुसंधान संस्थान से जुड़ने का आह्वान किया । निदेशक महोदय ने भैंसो के सही रख रखाव के बारे में बहुमूल्य जानकारी देते हुए दूध से बनाए उत्पादों से अधिक मुनाफा कमा सकने पर जोर देते हुए युवा किसनो को आगे बढ़ कर दूध से तैयार किए उच्च कोटि के सस्ते उत्पाद की बिक्री से मुनाफा कमाने का सन्देश दिए ।

उपरोक्त प्रशिक्षण में चौधरी चरण सिंह विश्व विद्यालय हिसार में कार्यरत मृद्वा विभाग के विशेषज्ञ प्रोफेसर डॉ.  बलराज सिंह दुहन द्वारा खेत की मृदा के उपजाऊ बनाने से समंधित दी गई जानकारी मुख्य बिंदुओं में से एक रही । संस्थान के वैज्ञानिको ने मेरा "मेरा गांव मेरा गौरव " योजना के अंतर्गत आस पास के लगभग 11  किसानो के खेतों की मृद्वा की जांच करवाई । डॉ. बलराज सिंह दुहन द्वारा स्वैछिक रूप से अपने खेतों की मिट्टी जांच करवाने वाले किसानो को सम्मानित किया गया ।किसानो के खेतों की मृद्वा की जांच रिपोर्ट जारी करते हुए डॉ. श्री  दुहन जी ने खेतों की मिट्टी की उर्वरकता बनाए रखने के बारे में विशेष जानकारी दी ।

प्रशिक्षण के दौरान वैज्ञानिको एवं किसान भाइयों के बीच आयोजित इंटरैक्टिव स्तर में किसानो ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया ।भैंसों को मिलरन मिक्सचर खिलाने की उपयोगिताओं के प्रति जागरूक करने के लिए प्रतिभागिओं में mineral मिक्सचर का वित्तरण किया गया । प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन प्रशिक्षण की गति विधियों का आकर्षण रहा ।तीन दिनों तक चले प्रशिक्षण के अंतिम दिन प्रतिभागिओं को मान्यता स्वरूप सर्टिफिकेट प्रदान किए गए

 National Dairy Mela 23-25 November, 2017

ICAR-CIRB participated at National Dairy Mela 23-25 November, 2017 at ICAR-NDRI, Karnal, Haryana. The team from ICAR-CIRB comprised of Dr. Sajjan Singh (Principal Scientist), Dr. Avijit Dey (Senior Scientist), Dr. Jerome A (Scientist), Dr. Mustafa H Jan (Scientist), Dr. TP Singh (ACTO) and Sh. Mohan Singh (TO). The farmers were imparted knowledge about the significance of high potential germplasm application, improved reproduction, balanced nutrition and research activities of ICAR-CIRB were displayed to the farmers. Many school children were also imparted knowledge on role of buffalo in milk production of India and motivated for scientific buffalo husbandry practices.

The chief guest of the Mela, Shri Chhabilendra Roul, Additional Secretary (DARE) & Secretary (ICAR) besides other dignitaries Dr. RRB Singh, Director NDRI and Dr AK Tomar, Director CSWRI visited the ICAR-CIRB stall at National Dairy Mela on 23rd November, 2017 at ICAR-NDRI, Karnal, Haryana.

Demonstration of ‘’Balanced Concentrate Mixture Preparation’’ under MGMG Scheme

Feed accounts for more than 70% cost of animal rearing. Inadequate nutrition is the major constrain in exploiting full genetic potential of animal production. In line of awareness campaigns and self employment run for improved buffalo husbandry practices for rearing of high productive buffaloes, significance of feeding balanced ration is of enormous value for farmers.  Recently, demonstration of ’Balanced Concentrate Mixture Preparation’’ was given to farmers at their door in village Ladwi Distt. Hisar, under MGMG programme at CIRB. Scientists Drs. Avijit Dey, Rajesh Kumar, Jerome A, Sunesh, SK Phulia and Poonam Sikka participated in the demonstration trial. Earlier, the farmers were imparted training by the team on feed formulation at CIRB during which farmers were motivated to establish a feed - mill for preparation of balanced concentrate mixture for their animals and supply to the nearby villages for self employment. Concentrate mixture preparation was demonstrated step wise.

A month ago, feed ingredients used by farmers in village were collected and their nutrients composition was determined in laboratory at institute. Based on the nutrients determined, a formulation of concentrate mixture was given, comprising of feed ingredients available to farmers. Improvement was suggested in respect of combating out nutrient deficiency in farmer’s in-hand concentrate feed. About 50 farmers participated in the demonstration trial. Farmers are now preparing the balanced concentrate mixture more economically and supplying to the different parts of the state. The feed is of high demand among the nearby farming community

Director, CIRB showing champion buffalo bull to Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji during 'Krishi Unnati Mela' 

 

Director ICAR-CIRB, Dr. Inderjeet Singh explaining the importance of elite buffalo germplasm to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji at the ‘Krishi Unnati Mela' on March 19th 2016 at IARI, Pusa, New Delhi.  Hon'ble PM took keen interest in the elite buffalo animals showed by the institute in the mela. Dr. Singh told Hon’ble PM that buffaloes alone contribute about 53% of country's milk production and because of this only the country is No. 1 in milk production. Further, buffalo meat earns the country thirty thousand crore annually. The farmers are earning extra income from buffaloes and they fit best for 'Make in India' slogan.
